Niles D. Perlas, CRNA, Chairman, she founded FAMI in 1999 to help the poor in the Philippines. Founded and Managed Goldie Brangman, Anesthesia Review Course in New York City from 1990 to 1994. Niles has also been Chief CRNA at two major hospitals in Manhattan for 20 years, Niles is from General Tinio Nueva Ecija. Niles is still active in FAMI Humanitarian Awards.
Reynaldo Gamboa Alejandro is a New York-based Manila-born writer and book author. He has written 40 books including the award-winning LAMESA, ADOBO BOOK, and SAYAW. Board 2000-2004 (Deceased)
Rowena Almendral, RN, was a volunteer on the 1st Surgical Mission in 1999 and board member in 1999-2000.
Lestrino C. Baquiran, M.D., Internist and cardiologist, was the attending at Lenox Hill Hospital and St. Luke's Roosevelt Hospital; graduated from the University of the Philippines College of Medicine. Board Member from 2004-2008. He received the FAMI Humanitarian Award in 2005.
Dr. James Beckman has been a supporter and adviser since its early days and has served the board on 2001 to 2008. Jim is an attending anesthesiologist at Hospital for Special Surgery.
Terry Bernabe, CRNA is a founding member of FAMI and secretary in 1999. Terry was a volunteer and board member on the 1st Surgical Mission.

Nelson Co, MD, CRNA is a founding member of FAMI in 1999. Nelson performs cataract surgical mission for over ten years and is active in FILAM NY communities. (1999-2002)
Angelica Cu, RN, MS, has served FAMI as Vice Chairman (2003-12) and Secretary (2002-03), worked at New York Presbyterian Hospital since 1991 and currently employed as Electrophysiology Nurse in Critical Care Department. Angelica has completed Orientation to Medical Missions in Developing Countries at Mercy Ships in Lindale, Texas in 1998

Maria Mamawal 1999-2003 Vice Chair and Secretary 1999 was founding member of FAMI. Maria helped organize FAMI earlier missions. Maria is active member of the local FILAM communities in New York City.

Bennie Muldong, RN, has been FAMI Treasurer from 1999 to 2008 and founding member. Bennie graduated from Central Luzon Educational Center School of Nursing in 1968. She is active New York 1199 union and is a Delegate since 1986.
Marissa Olmos, RN has been with FAMI since its inception and has been active in ensuring the proper dispensing of all donated medications in the Internal Medicine arm of FAMI medical missions. Worked as Recovery Room of the Westchester County Medical Center, Valhalla, NY, Cabrini Medical Center & St. Vincent's Midtown Hospital.
Ignie Ocampo, MT, FAMI since 2001, graduated from the University of the Philippines College of Public Health. She works in New York City hospitals as a microbiologist since coming to the US. Board 2003-2008

Tony Lara, Administrative Support. Held positions as Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for private and public companies for the past 25 years. Tony is retired and lives in Las Vegas.
Maria Teresa Victoria “Maite” Santos (2008 deceased) Since 2002, she tangled every year with the Philippine bureaucracy to help FAMI comply with all regulations.
Josee Perlas Mayo (2007 deceased) was a supporter of FAMI since its foundation. She was always available to help FAMI with government agencies to overcome “red tape” in its missions.
